Chia is a seed, which is soft and so it is gentle on the stomach of your little one, and can be included in your baby’s diet when you start them on solids – ensuri犀利士 ng that no matter what else they eat for the day they have consumed their fibre, omega-3, protein and antioxidants. Chia has no taste or smell and is easy to include in any meal.

Chia seed is rich in high in iron, magnesium and many B vitamins,a great source of calcium (18% of the RDI in 2 tbsp, great source of fiber,rich in antioxidants,
an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids (containing 5 grams per 2 tbsp).


Babies, from 6months 1/2 tsp daily. Mix chia with vegetable and fruit purees, yoghurt ,oats etc chia helps to thicken runny purees


Avocado which is a dense fruit ,is in high demand for its various health benefits.

Of the different health benefits of avocados, the most important one is that it contains a large quantity of fats that aid a baby’s mental and physical growth. Growing children need fat for their brain to develop properly. Avocado offers healthy fats that can fulfil this need. The monounsaturated fats in avocados are good fats that are very beneficial for a child’s overall development.

(note you can skip pineapple as it is acidic and may cause diaper rash for younger babies)

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1 slice of pineapple
  • 1/2 cup of spinach
  • 1 teaspoon of chai seed
  • 1/2 cup of coconut milk

Instructions

  • Mix the chia seeds with the coconut milk, cover and set aside for 30min.
  • peel and cut the avocado and pineapple and transfer into a blender.
  • add the spinach or steam for 1 min and add.
  • add the chia pudding
  • blend to the right consistency and serve..
